| De Bay's Cove Aug.13 - Basil Mc Kay, 36, of De Bay's Cove died in St. Joseph's Hospital at Glace Bay Aug.10. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church at De Bay's Cove. Surviving besides his widow Lottie are six children, all at home: Nora 8, Doreen 5, Ronald 6, John 4, Kenneth 2 and Basil Jr. 2 months. Also surviving are two sisters and six brothers; Ella (Mrs. Oscar Mason) of Owl's Head; Rheta (Mrs. Joe Whetley ) of Dartmouth; Andy ,Leo, Ernie and Howard of Dartmouth. | |
