STEVENS, Roscoe Timothy
STEVENS, Roscoe Timothy - 77, Musquodoboit Harbour, passed away Monday March 29, 2004. Born in Owls Head, he was a son of the late Mary Ellen and Timothy Stevens. He was the father of 12 children, eight boys and four girls, and the brother of eight. He is now with his loving wife Delilah Mary (Mason) together forever. Roscoe "Dad" had done many things in his life and enjoyed it. He was a fisherman with his dad in his earlier years. He drove truck and did carpentry for Wilbert and was a construction worker for 22 years for W.D. Morash and a very hard worker. He loved to go clam digging and was good at it. One of his favorite pastimes was boating on the Musquodoboit River and Lake Charlotte, he also loved to paint anything and everything. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his son, Charles Douglas; sisters, Jennifer, Mona, Amy, Gertie; brothers, Andrew "Andy", Bert, Irvin. He is survived by sons and daughters, Anthony (Ruby), Percy, Ontario; Jimmy (Janie), Elmer (Sherry), Lake Echo; Raymond (Theresa), Mary (Larry), Sandra (David Craig), Cole Harbour; Joseph (Michelle), Moser River; Brenda (Jerry), Quebec; Doreen (Barry), Prince Edward Island; Edward, Musquodoboit Harbour; grandchildren, Connie, Tony, Chuckie, Ellen, James, Jennifer, Raymond, Nikki, Mindy, Percy, Johny, Timothy, Benjamin, Andrew, Crystal, Brendon, Katrina, Fawn, Quen, Sammy-Jo, Josie, Chris, David. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in Rowlings Funeral Home today from 7-9 p.m. Service will take place in First United Church of Musquodoboit Harbour at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 1, Rev. Marg Brown officiating. Burial in United Church Cemetery with reception to follow. Donations in memory may be made to the The Lung Association.
