According to James E. Rutledge in "The History of Sheet Harbour", 1954:"Shipwrecked off Sheet Harbour with 7 or 8 others, when returning
from Halifax on Sunday, the 14th January, 1855 two of the unfortunate
sufferers were found the 22nd: Levi Weston Rose and Patrick Quillan.
The mortal remains of the late Levi W Rose were interred in the
Episcopal burying ground, Sheet Harbour, on this 23rd January, aged 33
years"
