The postcard was mailed from Belleville Post Office in Yarmouth County Nov 18 1909.
It is addressed to
Miss Sophia Potier
36 Amesbury St
Lawrence Mass.
Dear Cousin
Your card recieved O.K. pleased to hear from you. Don't know yet when I shall return to U.S.A. Yes! I do find the time long sometimes, but still I am gettting fat over here. Are you still working in the Alteration Room? If I do go over there this winter I shall let you know, please don't forget your cousin and give me a prompt reply.

The card was manufactured by the McCoy Printing Co., Moncton N.B. and Boston, Mass. as part of the " Acadian Series ". Cost of mailing was one cent Canada and United States - two cents foreign.
The note at the top of the card seems to indicate that the Belleville Post Office closed in 1969
