Lucy WESTCOTT was born in Dec 1786 likely in Digby County NS. She was the daughter of Thomas WESTCOTT UE and Chloe CARPENTER. She married Gilbert MERRITT in Nov 1811 and after the birth of their children, between Nov 1811 and 1826 they emigrated to Ontario. I have the names of Chloe's siblings but would like to fill in some blanks on that WESTCOTT family. Some of Chloe's nieces and nephews (children of her brother Thomas WESTCOTT Jr.) came to Kent County Ontario as well and stayed with her until settled.
