Below is a summary of the planned organization of the volumes in the series, Eastern Shore Families. Some of the divisions are arbitrary based on producing a volume of manageable size, bit I have attempted to keep groups that seemed to act as economic units with a high degree of intermarriage together. With each volume is a status report of the progress, effective on the date of publication for the present volume, in moving towards publication for each of the volumes. Even if research is not yet complete on an entire volume, the genealogy for any particular family scheduled to be published in that volume could well be completed, and can be made available separately. The author would be pleased to respond to requests from interested parties for the pre-publication drafts of any particular genealogies, so that corrections and additions could be made prior to publication. If errors or omissions are noted in the published genealogies, please also notify the author so that this can be rectified in future editions. If you have information on any Eastern Shore families not on the lists below, please send that information to the author for inclusion in future editions; no family has been omitted intentionally.
