HALIFAX COUNTY GENWEB SITE

New GenWeb Host Needed: Do you have a few hours a month to help us out? We are in need of a volunteer host for the Halifax County GenWeb Project site. Specific duties would include responding to occasional queries regarding Halifax County genealogy resources, and adding new material that has been donated to us (obituaries, cemetery listings, etc.) to the existing web pages. If you have an interest in Halifax County genealogy and are comfortable with web page editing and HTML web pages, please contact the NSGenWeb Project host: Gail Edwards

We definitely need to update our Halifax County local community webpages. If you would go to COMMUNITIES OF HALIFAX COUNTY you will see a list of pages that have either been "adopted", or those that are looking for somebody to give them a good home. We hope that you will take a close look at this list and see if you could possibly take on the task of being a GenWeb site host for one or more of these areas.

Halifax County is comprised of a wonderful variety of communities, from metro Halifax to small fishing villages. There should be at least one area that appeals to you. Adoption is a simple and painless procedure. Just drop us a line at [New Host Coming Soon] and let us know the community you are interested in taking over and we will gladly get you started and assist you any way we can.

If you would like to create a page for a community within Halifax County that is not listed, that is not a problem. Just let us know the community and we will gladly add it.
