CURRY, Thomas
E. - The death of a well known citizen in the person of
Thomas Edward Curry occurred at his home, Curry's Corner, on
Friday last following a lengthy illness. For many years deceased
was employed as a machinist at the plant of Windsor Foundry and
Machine Co., and at his trade he was considered an expert
workman. Mr. Curry was twice married, and of the first union two
daughters and one son survive. Of the second union one son
William resides at home with his mother. The funeral was held on
Sunday afternoon, Rev. Dr. Campbell officiating.

REDDEN,
Elizabeth - After a short illness from pneumonia there
passed away on Wednesday, April 20th, at her residence, Curry's
Corner, Elizabeth Redden, aged 94 years, 8 months, widow of
William Redden, Martock. Her husband and two daughters
predeceased her a number of years. She was a d/o the later
Robert Bacon, Falmouth, and not withstanding her advanced age
was very active. The funeral on Friday was conducted by the Rev.
W. W. Clarkson, assisted by Rev. R. A. Harley. Interment in
Maplewood Cemetery.

McELHINEY,
George Robert - of Truro, N.S. The funeral of George Robert,
infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald C. McElhiney, Truro, was held
at Windsor on Wednesday morning last, the remains being conveyed
to Windsor by motor car. Rev. W.M. Ryan, pastor of Trinity
Church, Windsor officiated.

BURKE, James
- 82, a respected citizen of Windsor Forks, passed away
Saturday, May 21st. His wife predeceased him some years. He is
survived by a son, Herbert Burke, Curry's Corner, a son William
at home, and two daughters, Mrs. Edward Sweet, Martock, and Mrs.
William Boleyn, Great Shemogue, N. B. The funeral service was
held Monday afternoon, Rev. A. H. Harley, officiating.
