BENEDICT,
Walter - Walter Benedict, well-known farmer at Windsor
Forks, died Tuesday at Payzant Memorial Hospital, Windsor. He
was 75. Born at Windsor Forks, Mr. Benedict lived there all his
life. He was a member of St. Michael's Anglican Church and was
active in community affairs. He is survived by one daughter,
Esther (Mrs. Ernest Meisner), Blanford, Lunenburg Co., one son,
Veral, White Rock, Kings Co.; one sister, Marguerite (Mrs. Fred
Redden), Windsor Forks; one brother, Charles, California, 15
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The remains are
resting at R. D. Lindsay's Funeral Home, Windsor. Funeral
service will be held from St. Michael's Anglican Church, Windsor
Forks, Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. John H. MacKenzie officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.

NUNN, Sadie
- The many friends of Sadie, wife of George Nunn, of
Summerville, Hants County, were deeply grieved to learn of her
passing on Tuesday morning, February 3, 1959. She was the
daughter of Caswell and Agnes (Smith) Armstrong and was born in
Summerville fifty years ago. The late Mrs. Nunn was twice
married. Her first husband, the late Basil Benedict, lived only
a short time after their marriage. Of this union was born one
son, Sgt. Gordon Benedict, now serving with the RCAF in Halifax.
She is survived by her second husband, George Nunn, of
Summerville, and children: Gwendolyn and Betty Jean, at home;
Delbert and Jack, of Halifax; Lawrence, Tom, Darrel, and Philip,
of Summerville. An infant daughter predeceased her several years
ago. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Caswell
Armstrong; a sister, Greta, of Windsor; and one brother,
Lawrence, of the staff of Church Electric, Windsor.
