ROSS, Robert M.
- WINDSOR - Robert M. Ross, 48, of St. Croix, died suddenly
Thursday evening in Payzant Memorial Hospital. He was the son of
Mrs. Dasie Ross of St. Croix and the late James Ross. Surviving
are his wife, former Rita Robertson, his mother, brothers,
Charles, Windsor, Howard, St. Croix, Albert, Newport, Morris,
Halifax and sisters, Jan (Mrs. Charles Roberts), Hamilton, Ont.,
June (Mrs. Joseph Sankevitch), Windsor, Ont., Hilda (Mrs. Calvin
Fraser), Windsor, Sadie (Mrs. James Arenburg), Cambridge, Kings.
The body is resting at Lohnes and Botten funeral home, Windsor,
where funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at one
o'clock by Mr. A.L. Ladrew. Interment will be held on St. Croix
cemetery.

HENNIGAR,
Addison - UPPER KENNETCOOK - Addison Hennigar passed away
suddenly in Hospital. Born in Upper Kennetcook about 86 years
ago, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Hennigar, he was a
farmer. He was a member of St. Peter's Anglican Church and a
life-long Conservative. There survive to mourn their loss his
wife and 10 children. The sons are Carl in Ontario, Lewis, Jock
and George in Massachusetts, Lloyd of Halifax and Maurice of
Dartmouth; four daughters, Flora, Mrs. Croft of Boston, Leah,
Mrs. Rose, Middleton, Helen, Mrs. Gilpin, Lachine, Que., Bertha,
Mrs. Soley, San Jose, California. A son and daughter predeceased
him. Havelock Hennigar is a brother and Mrs. Lucy Miller and
Mrs. Helen Miller, sisters, all of Upper Kennetcook. Funeral
service was Saturday from St. Peter's Church.

RATHBUN,
Elizabeth - Elizabeth Rathbun, 89, of 61 Garden St., Malden,
widow of Frank Rathbun, died at the Mass. General Hospital
Friday. She was a native of Newport, N. S., and had been a
resident of Malden many years. She leaves two sisters, Mrs.
Kathleen Rathbun of West Medford, and Mrs. Emma Macomber and a
brother, Murray Burgess, both of Windsor, N. S. Services were
held at the Maplewood Methodist Church this afternoon with Rev.
Douglas R. Moore, the pastor, officiating. Burial was in Forest
Dale Cemetery.

LANTZ, George
Gilbert - 82, retired lumberman and mill operator, died on
Thursday at
Payzant Memorial Hospital, Windsor. A native of Bramber, he was
a son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. David Lantz. He lived with his brother, William and
sister, Miss Evelyn at
Bramber. He was a bachelor. The funeral will be held this
afternoon at two o'clock
from Bramber Baptist Church with Licentiate Robert Childs
officiating. Interment will
be in Bramber cemetery.
