SABEAN, Mrs.
Mary M. -- WINDSOR -- Mrs. Mary Marguerite Sabean, 58, wife
of Ira Sabean of Windsor, died yesterday at the Payzant Memorial
Hospital, Windsor. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the
late Michael and Maude (Horne) Moriarity. She lived all her
young life in the city, moving to Windsor after her marriage. A
member of the Roman Catholic Church, she is survived by her
husband; a daughter Patricia (Mrs. Peter Doherty), Windsor; two
brothers, Michael and Jack of Halifax; two sisters, Cathleen
(Mrs. Isaac Fougere), Cape Breton; Evelyn (Mrs. Joseph McSweeney),
Halifax, and two grandchildren. Her body is at the Lohnes
Funeral Parlor, Windsor from where funeral service will be held
Sunday at 3.30 p.m., Rev. Fr. Joseph Mills officiating.
Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.

MILLER, James
- MacPhee's Corner, April 19 - James Miller, 90, of MacPhee's
Corner, died April 5 at his home. He lived all his life at
MacPhee's Corner and worked for the Department of Highways as a
graderman. He is survived by two daughters, Gladys (Mrs. Earl
Haskell), Shrewsbury, Mass.; Margaret (Mrs. George Laffin),
Noel; brothers, Fred and Gordon, Shubenacadie East; James, at
home; Rev. Donald Miller, of Montreal, and several grandchildren
and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Eunice,
and one daughter, Gertrude. His largely attended funeral was
held at the Ettinger Funeral Home, with Rev. John Moran and Dr.
E.V. Forbes officiating. There were many beautiful floral
tributes. Pallbearers were Murray MacPhee, Albert MacPhee, Eliza
MacPhee, Victor MacPhee, Earl MacPhee and Carl MacAloney.
Interment was in Mill Village cemetery.

ALEXANDER,
Hilda Pearl - 67, wife of Morton W. Alexander, Windsor, died
at Payzant Memorial Hospital yesterday. She was born in
Leminister, daughter of the late Rubert and Edith Swinamer and
lived in Hants County all her life. She was a member of the
Anglican Church of Canada. Mrs. Alexander is survived by her
husband; one son, Melborne, Kentville; 4 grandchildren and a
sister, Sadie (Mrs. John Church) Vaughan. Her body is at the R.
D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Windsor. Funeral service will be held
Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Leminister Anglican Church, Rev E.
Williams officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the
church cemetery.
