Selina - widow of Ralph Hughes, Truro, formerly of Windsor,
died at Colchester Hospital, Truro, Thursday. She was a daughter
of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philips Arsenault, Adamsville. Her
husband, two sons, and one daughter are dead. Surviving are
three sons, Ernst, Windsor; Ralph, Head of Chezzetcook; Edward,
Halifax; five daughters, Elva (Mrs. Hector McNeil), Windsor;
Bertha (Mrs. Warren Coffill), Edmonton; Mrs. Florence Pearl,
Curry's Corner; Agnes (Mrs. Lorne Testori), Hartford; Geraldine
(Mrs. Laurie McNabb), Truro; 32 grandchildren; several
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred and John Arsenault,
Boston. The body is at the Kennedy Memorial Residence, Truro.
Funeral service and interment will take place in Windsor.

BEZANSON,
Ernest Clifford - age 57, of Three Mile Plains, Hants Co.,
passed away on Friday, May 30 at the Berwick Hospital as the
result of an automobile accident. The late Mr. Bezanson is
resting at the R.D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Windsor. Funeral
service will be held on Sunday at 2:30 from St. Michael's
Anglican Church, Windsor Forks with Rev. Gordon Grandchell
officiating. Interment Windsor Forks Cemetery.

SWINAMER, Mrs.
Mary King - 67, wife of Frank Swinamer, of Three Mile
Plains, Hants County, died at Payzant Memorial Hospital,
Windsor, Saturday. She was born at Windsor Forks, daughter of
the late William and Bessie (Redden) Johnson. She is survived by
her husband, one daughter, Mona (Mrs. Carl Smith), Three Mile
Plains; four sons, Alfred, at home; Lawrence, Three Mile Plains;
Roy, Mount Uniacke; Wendall, Newport Station; three sisters,
Margaret (Mrs. Edward Haley), California; Lottie (Mrs. Clifford
Swinamer), USA; Florence (Mrs. Thomas Betin), Windsor; one
brother, Frederick Johnson, Falmouth, 18 grandchildren and three
great grandchildren. One son is dead. The body is at Lohnes
Funeral Home, Windsor, where service will be held Tuesday at
2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.

HAMILTON, Mrs.
Maude Elizabeth - 63, Newport Station, Hants County, died
Thursday at the Payzant Memorial Hospital in Windsor. Born in
Three Mile Plains, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and
Gertrude (Provost) States. Surviving are her husband, Gordon;
six daughters, Jessie (Mrs. Roland Johnson, Newport Station;
Muriel (Mrs. Laurie States), Mount Denson; Yvonne (Mrs. Fred
States), Newport Station; Lortricia (Mrs. Ernest Chambers),
Boston; Patricia (Mrs. Clifford Palmer), at home; four sons,
Gordon, James, and Eugene of Toronto; Amos, Montreal; five
sisters, Sarah (Mrs. William States), Mount Denson; Edith (Mrs.
Howard Ackinson), Toronto; Viola, Three Mile Plains; Dorothy,
Three Mile Plains; Annie (Mrs. John Paris), Windsor; two
brothers, Ralph, Halifax; John, Montreal; and a number of
grandchildren. Three brothers are dead, Harold, Cornelius, and
George. The body is at the R. D. Lindsay Funeral Home in
Windsor. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 2 p.m. at the
Windsor Baptist Church, with Rev. W. P. Oliver officiating.
Burial will be in the Maplewood cemetery.
