DAVISON, Albert
- 81, of Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, formerly of Hantsport, died
Wednesday in Hants Community Hospital. Born at Hantsport, he was
a son of the late Horace and Belle (Steele) Davison. He was a
foreman at Minas Basin Pulp and Power Company for 30 years until
his retirement. He was an adherent of St. James United Church
and a veteran of the First World War, serving with the 58th
Howitzer Battery. He is survived by his wife, the former Marion
Pulsifer; one son, Donald, Hantsport; one sister, Mrs. Rhoda
Frizzle, Hantsport; nine grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter,
Margaret; one son, Laurie; three sisters and five brothers. The
body is at Lohnes' Funeral Home, Windsor. Funeral service will
be held on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in St. James United Church,
Hantsport, Rev. Waldo Elliott officiating. Burial will be in
Riverbank cemetery, Hantsport. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.

FIELDS, Joseph
Warren - 69, of Hantsport, died Saturday in Hants Community
Hospital, Windsor. Born in Avonport, he was a son of the late
Frederick and Caroline (Henwood) Fields. He was a past employee
of Minas Basin Pulp and Power for a number of years and was also
employed as a carpenter previous to retirement. Surviving are
three sisters, Mary (Mrs. George Colby) and Amanda (Mrs. Edward
Pinch), both of Hantsport; Frances (Mrs. Roy Margeson),
Kentville; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his
first wife, the former Jean Morgan, two daughters, Evelyn and
Patricia, two sons, Warren and Roy and three sisters, Florence,
Laura and Annie. The body is at R.D. Lindsay Funeral Home,
Windsor, where funeral will be today at 2 p.m., Rev. Delbert
Bannister officiating. Burial will be in Riverbank cemetery,
Hantsport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian
Cancer Society or Hants Community Hospital.

RAFUSE, Donald
Theodore - 73, Upper Vaughan, died Monday at the Hants
Community Hospital, Windsor. Born at Windsor Road, Lunenburg
County, he was the son of the late David and Minnie (Armstrong)
Rafuse. He was a member of the Upper Vaughan Baptist Church.
Previous to his retirement he owned and operated Rafuse's
General Store. Surviving besides his wife, the former Marguerite
Swinamer, are one daughter, Joan (Mrs. Wilfred Hawkesworth),
Martock; two sisters, Mildred (Mrs. Percy Levy), Vaughans; Ruby
(Mrs. Herbert Foreman), Surrey, BC; six brothers, Clark, Sam,
Markus, all of Upper Vaughan; Bob, Windsor; Max, Halifax;
Harold, Windsor Forks; five grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. He was predeceased by three brothers,
Theodore, Clifford and Floyd. The body is at the R. D. Lindsay
Funeral Home, Windsor. Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 pm in the
Upper Vaughan Baptist Church, Rev. Donald McDougall officiating.
Burial will be in Lower Vaughan Community Cemetery. Memorials
may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Foundation or to the Upper
Vaughan Baptist Church.
