HORNE, John H.
- ENFIELD - John Henry Horne, 54, of Enfield died Saturday as
the result of a house fire. Born in Enfield, he was a son of
Margaret (MacDonnell) Horne and the late George P. Horne. A
veteran of the Second World War, he was a member of the Corps of
Commissionaires and of St. Bernard's Parish. Surviving besides
his mother, are five sisters, Phyllis Horne, Lantz; Pauline
(Mrs. John Stuart), Erma (Mrs. John Withrow) and Florence (Mrs.
Frank O'Neil), all of Enfield, and Bernadette (Mrs. Clyde DeMone),
Charlottetown; three brothers, Jim and Len, Enfield, and Fred,
Dartmouth. He was predeceased by a sister Bernice (Mrs. Bradford
Arnold). The body is in Ettinger's Funeral Home, Enfield.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Bernard's Church, Rev.
Donovan officiating, with burial in the parish cemetery.
