NELSON, Sidney
B. -- 82, Mill Village, Hants County, died Thursday in
Colchester Hospital, Truro. Born in North Salem, he was a son of
the late Otis and Janie (MacPhee) Nelson. He is survived by his
wife, the former Thelma Campbell; five daughters, Melissa Cook,
Brampton, Ont.; Marion (Mrs. Howard Schofield), Dartmouth;
Sylvia Fisher, Edmonton; Cora (Mrs. Wendell Weir) and Linda
(Mrs. Don Wyer), both of Mill Village; six sons, Gerald, Upper
Stewiake; Albert, Sarnia, Ont.; Seward, Amherstburg, Ont.; Lorne
and Otis, both of Mill Village; Darrell, Edmonton; three
sisters, Lena, (Mrs. Fred Hanson), New Hampshire; Anne Nelson,
Waltham, Mass.; Mrs. Edith Neil, Mill Village; a half-sister;
Jean (Mrs. Bert Faulkner), Waverley; 20 grandchildren; two
great-grandsons. She was predeceased by a brother Harry; three
sisters, Florence, Effie and Mildred, a half-sister, Kathleen.
The body will be at Ettinger Funeral Home, Schubenacadie, after
2 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Glen
Spears officiating. Spring burial will be in Brookside Cemetery,
Shubenacadie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nova
Scotia Kidney Foundation or any charity.

TODD, Thelma D.
- Newport, Hants County died Wednesday in the Victoria General
Hospital. Born in Port Bickerton, Guysborough County, she was a
daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Macumber) Rudolph. She
was retired from MacCulloch Building Supplies where she had been
employed for 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Martin;
two sisters, Irene (Mrs. W. McKellar), Halifax; Geraldine
Rudolph, Toronto; a brother, Allister, Port Bickerton. She was
predeceased by a brother, Marynard. Funeral arrangements are
incomplete.
