HOWELLS, Robin
John - 40, Brooklyn, Hants Co., died September 8,1996, in
Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour, as the result
of a bicycle/motor vehicle accident in Head of Chezzetcook. Born
in Leicester, England, he immigrated to Canada with his family
at age 15. He attended Windsor Vocational School, graduating
with carpentry. He had worked as an industrial mechanic at
Simmons Canada Ltd. for the past 19 years. He was an avid
cyclist and belonged to Centennial Cycling Club, Hantsport. He
also enjoyed darts, cross-country skiing and all sports.
Surviving are his wife, the former Vicki Lynn Hilchie; daughter,
Vanessa, at home; his parents, Derek and Jean (Munton) Howells;
brother, David; sister, Tracey, all of St. Croix; sister, Sue
(Mrs. Glen MacNeil), Sydney River, Cape Breton Co; several
nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2
p.m. Wednesday, both in Lindsay's Funeral Home and chapel,
Windsor, Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. Burial in Burncoat
Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to any charity.
