Comments:I would like to make note of the efforts of a group of Vogler's Covers to clean up and restore the old and new sections of the Vogler's Cove Cemetary located at Calf Point. With the initial efforts and "spark" provided by a Mr. Harmon and Mr. P. Vogler during the winter of 1998 and 1999, the community has come together to clean up and make permanent the maintenance of this cemetary. As a resting place of many of the founders and leading citizens of Vogler's Cove, it had become overgrown, with stones falling down, and it was told of some graves falling into the sea on the seaswept south side of the cemetery. With the local interest, sprurred by Evelyn (Whynacht) Baker, and Judith (Vogler) Morse, a group of local activists; supported by contributions from local people and expatriots, has taken the job in hand and begun to make a substantial improvement in the Cemeterie's condition.My interestin this is for my Great-Great Grandfather, Peter Bichard, and my Grandfather, Fletcher, Lemuel Bichard who are burried there. Also, Peter's wife Catherine (Conrad) and others of the Bichard Family.

Comments:You have a very informative site; I am just starting to search for information on my great grandparents. Great grandfather was Willis Obadiah Ramey, born in Northfield about 1876, married Hattie Fisher from Bridgewater August 14, 1895. They moved to Berwick in 1910. I don't knnow who their parents were but I believe Hattie had a sister, Sevilla who married a Weagle and remined in Bridgewater. I believe the sisters worked at the carding mill before they were married. Is anyone there doing research on either the Ramey or Fisher families that I can exchange info with?
