About the Canada-NS-Pictou Mailing List This list is available to anyone with an interest in family history research in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada. | Subject line | To get the most from your postings, encourage readers to actually read it by placing the specific surname, place name in the subject line, e.g. MacNeil in NewGlasgow, 1860. |
| Surname | Always write the surname in CAPS. However, writing all of your message in caps is hard to read and considered rude behaviour.You will probably be asked why you are shouting if your message is all in caps. |
