Ballina & Richmond River GenWeb COOK William James Cook was the son of Henry & Jane Cook. He was born in 1853 at Blackwall (Wardell). William married Annie Cusack from Ireland. William was a well known sculler. He hauled timber for Yabsley's Mill & butchered at Macauley's Head. William then took up farming at Riley's Hill. William & Ann's children included: Martha (1880 - Mrs J. Turner), Alfred Adolphe S. (1881), Montague (1883), Alice J. (1884 - Mrs W. Baxter), Ada A. (1886), William J. (1888), Jessie (1889), Annie (1893), Percy (1897), Grace (1898 - Mrs P. Giggins) & Julia (1899 Mrs A. R. Giggins).
