Ballina & Richmond River GenWeb FORSTER Thomas
Henry Forster was born in 1865. He moved from England
with his parents in 1880 & settled at Meerschaum
Vale. Thomas married Esther Lumley at Wardell in 1896.
Esther was born in 1871. Thomas was a butcher in Wardell
for some time, then settled on a dairy at Rous. The
family moved to the Tweed in 1924, where they grew
bananas. Thomas & Esther had 9 children: George
(1897), Norman (1899 - of Lismore), Ethel (1901 -
married R. Lavis), Amy (1903 - Murwillumbah), Walter
(1907), John (1909 - Brunswick Heads), Arthur (1911
- Tweed Heads), Annie (1913 - 1929) & Emily (married
Mr O'Brien - Baulkham Hills).
