John Austin Henderson b. 15/10/1834 Scotland d.9/8/1903 m. Isabella Doneley at Appin 9/2/1855 (She was a daughter of George Doneley and Isabella Tyson (sister of James Tyson, grazier).

There were 9 children - John b.21/12/1856 d.30/12/1856; George b.7/4/1858 d. 7/5/1858; Joseph b.16/12/1859 d. 20/4/1919; James b. 30/4/1861 d. 30/4/1861; Mary Agnes b. 22/7/1864 d. 19/5/1941; Frank Austin b. 2/11/1865 d. 11/5/1951; Edward b. 23/11/1867 d. 24/6/1953; Isabella b. 4/4/1869 d. 20/7/1869; Margaret b.16/8/1870 d. 16/8/1870 John Henderson & his wife Isobella settled at North Creek.

Their mother Isabella passed away 29/4/1871.

John Henderson was involved in the establishment of the first school at North Creek.
