James Law's Family

James Law was born in 1884 at Swan Creek. He married Harriet Ford of Back Channel & after some time, settled on Lumley's Lane.

James & Harriet had 11 children, including: John, Charlie, Gordon, Richard, Minnie, Lilly, Ralph & Ian.

George Law's Family

George Law was the son of John Law of Banff, Scotland. JOhn had come to Australia between 1830 & 1840. George married Fanny Blanch in 1857. Fanny's parents were: George Blanch & Elizabeth Briggs.

George purchased Percival's farm at Back Channel in 1892. George & Fanny's children included: Albert John, Arthur Wilson, Elizabeth, George Edwin, & Murial.
