The Bellingen GenWeb Project (BelliGenWeb) is part of the NSWGenWeb, a subsidiary of the AustraliaGenWeb Project and in turn the WorldGenWeb Project; a non-profit, volunteer based organisation dedicated to providing global genealogical and historical records and resources.

Bellingen is a small town and local government area in New South Wales, located approximately half way between Sydney and Brisbane. Message from the new coordinator

Welcome to the Bellingen GenWeb, my name is Sandra Taylor and I have just taken on the role as coordinator for this site. A number of my ancestors can be traced back to the Bellingen, Fernmount and surrounding areas and include the names of Sawyer, Humphris, Moran, and Brewis (plus connections to Pollock, Tyson and Davis), and it is these ancestors that have brought me originally to this site.

Please bear with me while I settle in to this new role and become familiar with building and adding to websites (what a challenge!). In the coming months I plan to further develop this site to assist people researching their family history. If there is something you would really like included in this site then please let me know.

Submissions
