Joining a local family history group will give you lots of benefits for researching your family history. Our research centre has a wide range of resources available for not only Australia, but many other areas around the world.
Duty monitors are always available for advice and assistance and reciprocal rights are offered to members of all family history societies who visit our room to do research (proof of current membership required).
You also get to meet others who have a similar interest, may be researching similar areas and families, and those who have lots of knowledge that they are willing to share.
The Society undertakes special projects from time to time in an endeavour to
preserve records within its designated areas which are on the mid north coast of New South Wales.
The area for such projects is from Red Rock in the north, south to Urunga and
inland to include all areas to the west bounded by Deer Vale, Tyringham and Dundarrabin.
Coffs Harbour District Pre 1930 Pioneer Register is the most recent publication published in 2011.
Copies are available from the Society at $40 each plus $11 P&H (if required).
The Society now has Donor Gift Recipient (DGR) Status.
