Query Name ARLIE R.
Query :

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am working in conjunction with the Australian Railway Memorial at Werris Creek. At present we are trying to determine the Christian Names of a Gentleman who died when he fell from the Clarence River Railway bridge on the 13th of May 1951. Is it possible that you may have some information on the death of Mr R. ARBIE ?. He was employed by the NSWGR presumably as a Bridge builder or a Fettler.

As you possibly know the above mentioned Memorial (A.R.M) will hold the names of all Australian Railwaymen who have died on the job. At present we have approx 2100 NSW names to be exhibited on the wall. These we hope to have placed on the memorial wall when it is completed in October 2005.
If you could assist I would be most grateful.

Thank you.
