McCARTHY: Raymond Charles McCarthy (b 1901, d. c. 1960) m. Lillian SORENSON (b 1910, d. 1989) in 1929. They are believed to have had three sons, Robert, William and Ray. They separated in later years and contact was lost with Lillian and her sons. Raymond was an oarmaker and lived in the Leichhardt area most of his life, latterly with his parents in North Street. McCOOK: seeking information on the reverend Adam Stuart McCook (b 1872, Penrith, NSW) and his wife Jess (nee CAMPBELL). The Presbyterian minister served at Warren (1899-1904), West Maitland (1904-1923) and Albury (1923-1933). He was moderator of NSW State Assembly in 1922. McWILLIAM family: left Co. Roscommon, Ireland c 1863 bound for New Zealand. I was directed to Horace Ronald McWilliam, late of Balgowlah (d 1991), whose grandfather was a William McWilliam who arrived in New Zealand in 18623 and was followed by his parents a year later. This is the first time I have ever found another McWilliam connection to Roscommon. I believe William was my Great-great-grandfather's brother. William's parents were John and Rebecca.
