Established in 1980, the Tumut Family History Group is an organisation, which aims to assist people who are researching family history, local history or the pioneering families of the region.

Where is Tumut ?

Tumut is in the foothills of the Northern end of the Snowy Mountains, which is part of the Great Dividing Range, in Southern New South Wales and can be found approximately 35kms East of Gundagai, and approximately 100kms "as  the crow flies" South West of Canberra.
