Site changes during September 2008 :
- Additional reviews have been included linking from the Library and Resources pages;
- All the reviews have been turned into an internet page. They previously were a set of images;
- Due to lack of support, the Gallery : Images page has been removed. A link to the Group's Images on the "Pho.to" site has been placed on the Home page and the Gallery page;
- An Australian Convicts page has been introduced in the Gallery;
- Resources : The page has been re-arranged so that the CDs are listed as they appear in the computer room printout and correspond with the shotcuts on the computers;
- Library : The page has been updated with the latest acquisitions;
- The Membership Renewal reminder on the Home page has been removed;
- A bit of fun. See the Guide to Internet Genealogy Flowchart's link placed above (until the end of the month);
- The Home page's preamble has been removed to the Notices Section;
- An expandable map showing the location of 'The Cottage' has been added to the Home page;
- This logo will be placed against newly added articles, website links, etc and will remain there for ten days (previously shown as one month).

Site changes during October 2008 :
- A link has been provided on this page and the Gallery page to a page reporting on the the 2009 NSW & ACT Association of Family History Societies State Conference being hosted by WFHG in September 2009;
- A history of the development of the site is available as a link from the Gallery page;
- Rules for the use of ancestry.com placed in the Resources page preamble;
- Home page layout changed;
- Navigation Menu was replaced to make the page standards compliant and the layout more compact;
- A listing (with subscription links) for the rootsweb Convict Mailing Lists, placed on the convict page;
- Site Map on the Home page updated to show the new pages which have been added to site;
- Convict Mailing List Subscriptions at rootsweb added to Convicts page.
- The logo  will be placed against newly added articles, website links, etc and will remain there for approximately ten days.

Site changes during November 2008 :
- Library : The page has been updated with October's acquisitions;
- Announcement of the establishment of the fhwyong Google Group with an email link to apply for membership;
- Site email addresses coded in Unicode to deter spambots;
- Calendar added to Coming Events page;
- Temporary page for proposed changes to WFHG Constitution added; linked from Home page and Gallery page.

- Added "on the NSW Central Coast" to the title of all pages, to increase the chance a "central coast" search finding the site;
- Introduced background hover highlight for important items; to be applied and removed as required. Operates on all browsers except Internet Explorer v6 and prior (as usual).
- Maps on Home and Conference pages enlarge when hovered. Operates on most browsers except Internet Explorer v6 and prior;
- Removed 800px x 600px warning on home page;
- Moved Photo Albums from Pho.to! to Multiply as it is seen as being a more reliable site;
- The Library page has been updated with December's acquisitions;
- The Cemetery section (Books and CDs) has been updated with December's acquisitions plus cumulative errors have been corrected;
- The Resources page has been updated with new CDs from the past few months

Site changes during February 2009 :
- Added clock to Home page and Coming Events page;
- Added Conference countdown clock to Home page and Conference page;
- Created Customised Tooltips. Initially used on the Articles page and the Convicts page (faulty in the Opera browser);

- Image of 'The Cottage' now displayed in the Address and Tab bars;
- Clock removed from Coming Events page as it sometimes delayed loading of the Calendar;
