The PROSPECTOR

The PROSPECTOR (ISSN: 1085-3707) is published quarterly. Members receive four issues each year (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct), a Surname Special is included in the January issue. All material published in The PROSPECTOR is compiled and contributed by the members. The Clark County Nevada Genealogical Society (CCNGS) exchanges The PROSPECTOR with periodicals published by other genealogical organizations. The PROSPECTOR is also sent to all major genealogical libraries, Public Libraries in Las Vegas, the state of Nevada, and the two state University Libraries (UNR and UNLV).

BOOK REVIEWS: Reviews of books of genealogical interest are published in The PROSPECTOR when the books are donated by the publisher or author. These books are then made available to the public through the Paso Verdes’ Heritage Room, as is all other genealogical material of the Clark County Nevada Genealogical Society.

QUERIES ARE FREE: Members are allowed three queries per issue of The PROSPECTOR and can be set to run several times. Non-Members are charged one dollar per query, with a limit of three per issue. Query forms are available on our websites and members (only) can submit them from the website. BACK ISSUES: Are available for three dollars for quarterly and five dollars for Surname Specials. Mail request with appropriate fee to PROSPECTOR Back Issues, CCNGS, PO Box 50569, Henderson, Nevada, 89016-0569.
