Clubs of the Nevada State Society

Cameo Club

The Nevada State Cameo Club promotes understanding and fellowship between the generations and encourages the passage of genealogical information, family, histories, and patriotism to subsequent generations. There are two kinds of memberships. The regular membership is open to those Nevada Daughters with a mother, daughter, granddaughter, aunt, or niece who are or have been members of DAR. Associate membership is open to all Nevada Daughters that do not have a mother or daughter in DAR.

Junior and Page Club

The Nevada Junior and Page Club was formed on April 6, 2008 at the Nevada State Conference.

The purpose of the club is to promote Junior and page involvement and activities on the chapter, state and national levels; to promote understanding and fellowship among Juniors during their junior member years; to mentor pages and Juniors for leadership positions; to perpetuate the memory and spirit of DAR women wearing sashes, clothed in white, with gloved hands and sore feet; and to preserve the paging tradition for years to come.

The Club works to raise funds to defray travel expenses for the Nevada State Outstanding Junior to travel to Continental Congress. Membership in the Nevada Junior and Page Club is limited to those ladies who joined the DAR as a junior member, and during their junior member years, were a resident (or had residency status) in the State of Nevada; or those ladies who have paged at conferences of the Nevada State Society. Those individuals are regular members. Α junior member is one as defined by the Bylaws of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Associate membership is open to those ladies who do not meet the requirements of regular membership. We welcome anyone to join as an associate member and support our juniors!
