La Grange-MC Clasky Burying Ground a NYGenWeb county site for Albany County Genealogy and History

Location: Along Krumkill Rd. from New Scotland Ave., past German Evangelical Cemetery. Just as road drops down hill, Burying Ground on your left in grove of white birches. Before 1970 this burying ground was moved to Evangelical Protestant Cemetery on Krum Kill Road. Christian LA Grange d. March 3, 1828 age 78yrs. his wife Elizabeth d. April 27, 1831 age 84 yrs. James McClasky d. July 16,1863 age in his 84th year his wife Janette LaGrange d. Dec. 15,1864 age in her 74th year Mary, wife of John McClasky d. March 7, 1840 age 77yrs. 3mo. stone erected by her grandson Thomas H Redding Daniel Redding born in Town of Surry, NH died Albany, Feb. 16, 1830 age 41 yrs, 11mo, 19dys   Catherine I McClasky, wife of John Feeley d. Oct. 31, 1880 age 55yrs, 5mo, 27dy   Ellen D McClasky d. March 27, 1837 age 3 yr, 7mo, 25 dy   Son and daughter of Gertrude McClasky and Christian LaGrange: James d March 18, 1838 age 2yr, 6mo, 24 dys Elizabeth Russ d.
