Soop Burial Ground a NYGenWeb county site for Albany County Genealogy and History

From Becker's Corners follow Rt. 396 towards South Bethlehem. The first farm across the Onesquethaw Creek was the Soop Homestead. Burial Ground was on the Flats behind house. This is now pasture land and all stones have been removed. Conrad Soop (Rev. War)         d. Sept. 26,1847 age in his 102 year his wife Elizabeth Becker d. Aug. 14, 1842 age 88yr Margaret Van Zandt d. Aug. 9, 1851 age in her 68th year wife of Frederick Soop Henry Soop d. May 1, 1859 age 9yr 8mo son of Frederick and Margaret Soop (there could be a problem with this date) Ann Gineta Soop d. Dec 1849 stone broken   Peter VanZandt Soop d. 1841 age 22yr or 23 yrs   Anna M Heller d. Nov. 22, 1858 age 3yr dau. of Baltus and Rebecca Heller  Chatsey Baltus Heller b. Nov. 7, 1853(2) d. July 2, 1855   Frederick Soop b. March 18, 1790 d.
