DAGGS   --     I am looking for information about the early life and ancestors of Willis Herbert Daggs, who was born on February 19, 1904 in Binghamton, Broome County New York. His father's name was Herbert Wallace Daggs and his grandfather's name was Wallace Daggs. He later moved to the Rochester, Monroe County area. His father may have been from this area too.

DECKER   --     I am looking for information on Delia Decker she was born in Lenox Pa in 1868. She married Nelson Edwin Graves and they lived on Steam Mill road and operated a grain business in Masonville They had several children some of which were Harry , Guerney,Winifred, Ester, Ransom,there may have been more that we are unaware of. DEHAVEN   --     I'm trying to find information on the DEHAVEN FAMILY that lived in Binghamton. Daniel DEHAVEN died in a hospital in April of 1948. I believe he was burned in a fire. Not much information known on it. He was brought back to Nanticoke, Luzerne County, PA to be buried. Daniel DEHAVEN was born abt. 1866, he was married to a Elizabeth CLASE/COSLER/KOSSLER , she died in 1919 in PA. Daniel moved out to Binghamton in the 1930's. His last known address was Morgan Rd. I beleive he had some sons living in that area also, George and Arthur, may be others too. Any information on this family would be much appreciated. Thank You In Advance. Sandy

DELAMATER   --     I would like any information on My Delamater Family that married in Delaware county, but moved to Broome County in 1827 or about. His name was Moses Delamater and his wife was Diadama Haines. Their son Jacob was my G.Grandfather. He married Esther Delamarter, daughter of Cornelius Delamarter and Clarinda Brown. They were married in Broome County. Moses's daughter anne married Lyman Welton and they lived in Broome County. Their daughter Catherine Delamater married a Galloway and they moved to Tioga County. A daughter married a ? Van Barrigar and they were living in Broome Co. in the 1880's. Their son Pardon Delamater married Elizabeth Lewis. Their son Stephen Delamater, a Fannie Brigham. They were there in the 1835 Census. My G.G. Grandmother Diadama (Haines) Delamater we can find no info on her Haines line. But the names Pardon and Stephen are unknown to our Delamater lines. John Dickinson b 1817 NY. married Mary Pierce Jackson, dau of Mordecai Jackson and Hannah Iddings of Wellsboro, Tioga Co., PA.

All four brothers successful businessmen in the lumber business in Broome, Tioga and Chenango Counties of NY and Tioga County, PA. In partnership with Hezekiah Stowell, of Chenango Co., son of Calvin and Polly Stowell, of Tompkins Co, NY. Also working with William E. Dodge of Phellps/Dodge, NJ.

Sister of the above brothers, Mrs. Bixby of Harpersfield, NY.

Interested in information regarding M. Daniel Dickinson, Daniel Dickinson partner of Elizabeth / Betsey Stowell, dau of Hezekiah Stowell and Hezibah Persis Rice, VT sufferers who removed to Chenango Co, 1787 from Windham Co., VT. Believe Daniel resided in Delaware Co, Seneca Falls area, Guilford area of NY.

DIONNE   --     Looking for info on my ggrandfather Augustus E. DIONNE and his wife Elvira Brace Dionne. He was a Union Police Judge and died about 18 July 1921, buried in Riverhurst Cemetery. Endicott Town Clerk says there's no death certificate -- ?? I have obit from Union News Dispatch. His place of birth is listed simply as New England, and no parents' names given. His son-in-law, Carl Conrow, owned a tavern in Endicott; his daughter, Maude Gamache, was living in Endicott in 1921. Any info greatly appreciated.

DOAN   --     I'm looking for information about Gordon or Francis Doan. They were married and lived in Endicott. We think they were Baptist and originally from Auburn, NY. We are pretty sure that Gordon is buried in Riverside or Riverhurst Cemetary in Endicott.

DODGE   --     I am searching for information on Isaac Dodge and Eunice Willson of Broome County, NY. Isaac was located in Chenango, NY in 1820 census. There was also an Isaac Dodge (age 71) in 1850 Chenango, NY census, living with the Ichabod Randall family.

Isaac Dodge married Eunice Willson about 1799 and they had a daughter, Philinda, who was born in NY about June 18, 1800. Philinda Dodge married Benjamin Sneeden, who was son of Abraham Sneden, also from Chenango, NY.

Any information about these individuals or their ancestors/descendants would be appreciated. I'll be glad to share all information I have and/or exchange GEDCOM files.

DRAKE   --     I am working on Elias Drake who brought his family from MA to the Vestal area 1795-1799. His daughter Ann Drake b. 1799 prob in Vestal or Tracy Creek married Anthony DeGues in Vestal in 1816. Their daughter Hannah DeGues married Benjamin Swartwood (of Barton, Tioga Co) ca 1838.

Benjamin and Hannah Swartwood lived in Barton, Tioga Co., from 1840 to 1844 when they moved to Tracy Creek. They lived in Tracy Creek all their lives. Hannah died in 1871 and was buried in Crumm Cemetery, Tracy Creek.

Does anyone know where Benjamin Swartwood is buried? He died in 1893.

DUREN   --     Seeking descendants of Henry (ca. 1845-?) and Lauren/Loren Duren, sons of Milo Duren and Phoebe Marks of Susquehanna County PA. Henry was living in Endicott and Lauren in Binghamton at the time of their brother Daniel's (1843-1821) death. Other siblings were: Cyrus (b. ca. 1835), Nancy A. (b. ca. 1836), Louisa (b. ca. 1839), Delilah (b. ca. 1840) and Warren (b. ca. 1848). A group of their Marks cousins would dearly like to make contact with the Duren descendants.

ERNIE   --     I am trying to locate any info that might be available on the ERNIE family. I have a letter dated 1908 from Binghamton from Fred (Frederick) Ernie to his brother, Emil Ernie in Cooks Falls, Delaware Co., N.Y. in which is mentioned the death of their aunt. Some clues to a more acurate location from family members is: Johnson City or Endicott. This family was supposedly wealthy, and were pro- bably of Swiss extraction. Frederick ERNIE's wife's name was Millie (surname unknown). Emil Ernie of Cooks Falls, died in November 1945 and had married 1901 to Angeline (Lina) Cook, daughter of Willis and Phoebe Steenrod Cook. FOLEY   --     Looking for information on Delia Bridgette Foley b. 1885 d. 10/12/1909 in Binghamton. She was a mid-wife and died of pneumonia after attending a birth in the cold rain. Her husband was Arthur Freemont Westbrook who died in a RR accident in Aarrat, PA. They had four children Rosemond ( my grandmother), Pearl, Madeline and Joseph. She had a brother which lived in the Binghamton area named Daniel Foley 1876-1940. My grandmother said that they came over from Ireland. Did they come with their parents or as young adults? My Grandmother is gone now , as are her siblings. Understand Daniel had a large family. Any help would be appreciated.

FULLER   --     Am searching for siblings, FULLER, James and Eunice. Eunice married a man by the surname of SMITH. In 1847, they both resided in Windsor, Broome county, New York. They had a sister named FULLER, Maria, who married in Oneonta, Otsego county, New York to William Mickle or Mickel, in December 1847. James and Eunice came from Windsor to attend Maria's wedding at the home of their mother, FULLER, Sarah Mrs. This FULLER line is supposedly descended from either FULLER, Samuel Dr., or FULLER, Edward, of the Mayflower Pilgrims. Would like to confirm this line.
