For the working person:
The historical section is only open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday thru Thursday and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Friday and Saturday.
All books relating to historical research are now in the Historical Section.
For the handicapped person:
To gain access to the Historical Section you must go a long distance to the center of the building where the stairs and elevators are located, but wheelchairs and an electric cart are available for handicapped people. The elevator is not immediately in site from the door. You must go around a corner onto a carpeted section of the library to reach them. The entire second floor is also carpeted.
There are now buttons available to open the entrance doors, but if you don't see them, there are many helpful library patrons willing to help you.
