FURTHER INFORMATION ON THE COLLISION OF THE GIGGLE AND THE THOUSAND ISLANDER

This aerial shot of the boats grappling for the bodies of Mr. and Mrs. W. Charles Lipe and Ford Dodge, their pilot, was obtained from the Herald airplane piloted by Myron T. Williams, of Curtiss Flying Service, Inc. Capt. Devillo J. Rogers and his wife, who played leading roles of the saving of 38 passengers aboard an excursion boat rammed by the Lipe speedboat, are shown in the inserts.
