LONG & WILLIAMS AT ALEXANDRIA BAY
From 1993 Memories of the Thousand Islands Sun, by the gracious permission of Jeanne Snow, editor. Long and Williams operated this fruit and vegetable market which was part of the Marsden House near the Alexandria Bay waterfront. Produce was often brought by boat, especially by the steamer Arundel (1905--?) Note the vintage truck at right in this photo, which was probably taken prior to World War I (c1914).
