LAKEVIEW contains one hundred and seventy acres, on Lake road from Aurora to King Ferry, within twenty miles of Auburn and two miles from Aurora. The owner is E. Anthony. Postoffice address, Aurora. Its products are general. The soil is adapted to the raising of sheep, and there is a fine dairy, the product of which is sent to the Aurora Creamery, two miles north. This is considered one of the finest farms on the road. The water is supplied from a never-failing well with windmill power and running water from springs. There is a timber lot of five acres of hardwood. This farm, previously owned by J. M. Gould, has exchanged hands many times, and was purchased by E. Anthony in 1893, he is a native of Cayuga County, born in 1836, and married Miss Ruth Silcox in 1861. This farm has a picturesque view overlooking Cayuga Lake, and a fine view both north and south.
