The grave of Bruce S. Burlingame was showed to me many years ago by Kenneth Nye, caretaker for R. James and Peggy Hubbard who purchased the former Burlingame farm in 1948.  The grave is in the middle of a young wood lot between the chicken sheds behind the Hubbard house, and the recently constructed house of Donald and Marylou Schwinn.  A medium size unmarked boulder several ornamental deciduous bushes mark the spot.
        I do not yet know when Burlingame died, but it was before April 22, 1948, as on that date Helen V. Burlingame sold (in Deed 403:201) the large farm to R. James Hubbard, excepting

"An area one rod square (16.5 feet square, 272²'), in the center of which is the grave of Bruce S. Burlingame, together with a right-of-way for ingress to and egress from said grave on foot or over the following ground ... (description of r-o-w given).
