THE PILOT was Cazenovia's first newspaper, begun on August 8,
1808. While it was not a fountain of local news and information,
it is a unique source of information on the early commercial activities
of the young community. Be sure to read the
History of THE PILOT, Cazenovia's first newspaper, published 1808 to 1823.
