Located on a knoll in a pasture on the Russell Hunink farm (in early days the Ross farm), near Upper Road on Clymer Hill in northwestern part of Clymer. In 1976, Marguerite Neckers VanderSchaaff, Town Historian of Clymer at the time, reported the following inscriptions:
Mrs. Charles S. Ross, d. Dec. 6, 1834 at 59 years,
Note: She is listed in the Ross Family Bible as Amy Woodburn Ross, b. Apr 3, 1775, d. Dec 6, 1834 at 59 years.
Note: Father of Charles Ross was Samuel Ross of Rutland, VT and was a soldier of the Revolutionary War.
C.B. (Claudia) Ross, d. Oct 15, 1909, about 69 years old, having been
born in 1840.
Note: This stone has disappeared since 1970 when Mrs. Paul Bennett of Sherman, NY last saw it. I suspect that in the process of plowing the ground nearby that it was plowed under.
The notes above are those of Mrs. VanderSchaaff.
