1. John APTHORP was born in England.

2. William APTHORP was born about 1814 in Grandston, Cambridgeshire, England. He died on 1 May 1883 in Fredonia, Chautauqua County, New York.

SARAH was born about 1808 in Ellsworth, Cambridgeshire, England. She died on 17 August 1895 in Fredonia, Chautauqua County, New York. William APTHORP and SARAH had the following children:

Mary Ann BARDEN was born about 1843 in Town of Pomfret, Chautauqua County, New York. She died on 1 February 1928 in Fredonia, Chautauqua County, New York. James W. APTHORP and Mary Ann BARDEN had the following children:

He was married to Cora RUGGLES (daughter of Moses RUGGLES and Emily KEELER) in 1882 in [NI2660] !This maybe the Cora that married Louis H Apthorp in 1882 in Sandusky Ohio. Cora RUGGLES was born about 1862 in Norwalk, Ohio. She died on 20 May 1947 in Fredonia, Chautauqua County, New York. Lewis Henry APTHORPE and Cora RUGGLES had the following children:

FIFTH GENERATION

20. James Rutherford APTHORPE was born about 1885 in Fremont, Ohio. He died on 24 November 1956 in Fredonia, Chautauqua County, New York of throat cancer.

22.   Ruggles Keeler APTHORPE was born on 22 December 1906 in Dunkirk, Chautauqua County, New York. He graduated in June 1925 in Academy High School, Erie, Pa. He died on 26 September 1984 in Mt. Dora, Lake County, Florida. He Awards about 1985 in Ruggles K Apthorpe Award created by Mt. Dora Republican Men's Club and awarded to person recognized. He died in Died the day after 50th wedding aniversary of pulmonary edema but otherwise healthy. He was a in Traffic Manager, Bucyrus Erie Co., 43 yrs. He had Social Security Number. He was buried in Pine Forest Cemetary, Mt. Dora, Lake County, FL.

He was married to Helen Ceclia GRILL (daughter of Ralph GRILL and Elanore D'ALESSIO) on 25 September 1924 in St. Andrews Rectory, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. Helen Ceclia GRILL was born on 24 December 1904 in Custer City, McKane County, Pennsylvania. She died on 7 June 1999 in Mt. Dora, Lake County, Florida. She had Social Security Number.
