It is important to say that the Historian may NOT have a genealogical collection. Many Historians are more apt to be preserving artifacts than family information. Many Historians are very low paid (if at all) and it may be important to at least enclose a self addressed stamped envelope. It also could take a while for the Historian to answer. When writing ask for the name of someone else that could be of help if the Historian cannot help. Please be patient and understanding.
