Seeking to locate information in regards to David Covill, married to Sarah Marsh, and any of their descedants.
Rev War Veterans Chenango County, New York by Nelson Tiffany page 285 - David COVIL W 18952 Private
David COVIL b Nov 10 1755 at Glastonbury, Hartford, Conn son of James COVELL and Margaret FINELY died July 13, 1820 no place of death given.
Married Oct 25, 1781 at New Hartford, Litchfield, Conn by Reverand Jonathan MARSH of the Presbyterian Church to Sarah MARSH, a daughter of Moses MARSH and Sarah MERRILL. She was born Feb 3, 1758 in New Hartford, Litchfield, Conn and died Jan 8, 1850 at German, Chenango, New York. She is buried in the Union Cemetery, McDonough, New York. Children: Micah, Sally, Betsey, David, Polly, Fanny, Chloe, Elijah, Salmon.
He applied for pension while a resident of Norwich on Sep 18, 1819, which was allowed on Oct 14, 1819. His wife applied from German, NY Feb 1, 1841.
There appears to be some controversy in regards to David COVILL being the son of James COVELL, and other researchers have said that he is the son of Seth Simon COVILL. Nobody it seems want to claim this David COVILL.
I would appreciate any assistance.......and or contact with descendants.

Seek bio info and a photo of (Miss) Emma Louise RANDALL, M.D., born Norwich Mar. 31, 1849, dau. of John A. and Delia RANDALL. Emma migrated to Pontiac, Mich. in 1879, but may have returned to Norwich in 1883 or 1884 to marry and have a son. She apparently died soon after in accident. RANDALL was one of the first female physicians in the nation named staff of a major medical facility, namely the large state hospital opened 1878 in Pontiac. Book on that hospital, then called the Eastern Michigan Asylum, being prepared for the Oakland County (Mich.) Historical Society. Material here on RANDALL is scant. Thanks.

I am looking for information on the NAUMAN family of Norwich. There is a listing in the 1900 Census for William NAUMAN and his family living in Norwich. His wife, Anna (BIELE) NAUMAN, is a relative of mine. I know she was originally from NYC and I do not now when they moved to Norwich other than it was obviously before 1900.
The last name in the census is listed as NAUMANN though I saw it spelled "NAUMANN" in a family history book.
The information from the census is as follows (at least as well as I can decipher it):
NAUMAN, William, born Nov 1857, age 42, married 20 years, Supt. of silk mill
NAUMAN, Annie, born Nov 1860, age 39, married 20 years, 3 children
NAUMAN, Elsa, born Mar 1881, age 18, weaver in silk mill
NAUMAN, Charles(?), born 1884, age 15, weaver in silk mill
NAUMAN, Vera, born 1886, age 13, at school
I know there is at least one error with the information. Annie (Anna BIELE) was born on March 14, 1861.
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Ken Biele email@example.com

Interested in learning more about Louisa E. JACKSON, wife of Henry A. JACKSON. Louisa died Sept. 12, 1870 (in German). She was 22 years and 1 month old. My brother discovered Louisa's grave stone deep in the woods while hunting and it most likely no longer marks here grave.
