George Frank Welch married Rose Mary Cornwall 10 October 1888 Eureka, CA Have Welch line from George Frank Welch and on to present. He was my ggfather.
Search of Chenango County NY 1870 and 1880 did not turn-up George Frank Welch and Esther or Esther as husband and wife. Also, did not find a record of children George Frank, Lizzie Ann, nor Fannie Belle

I am looking for anyone who knows the caretaker, owner, etc of the Wilcox Cemetary, located in Tyner, New York. This is the 2nd Cemetary on a dirt road off of the main highway through Tyner. Several Wilcoxes are buried in Tyner, including Simon Gates, Harrington, and Job. Also buried are Hannah Loomis, wife of Simon Gates, daughter of Edward and Polly. Simon Gates died on February 23, 1883. Information on anyone who takes care of this cemetary would be appreciated.

Looking for information on the descendants of Robert Orr: ROBERT ORR, a native of Wigtonshire, Scotland, born in 1807 and a son James and Catherine (Kenmure) Orr was reared in his native land, and there learned the weaver’s trade. In 1828 he immigrated to New York City, where he worked at his trade for a few years, and then removed to Onondaga County, New York. He continued working at his trade in that county up to 1849, in which year he removed to Wyoming county, where he spent ten years, only part of the time following is trade. In 1859 he came to Tioga County, Pennsylvania, and rented a farm one-mile south of Wellsboro, in Delmar Township, which he cultivated for two years. He then bought a farm adjoining that now owned by Thomas J Orr, on which he passed the remaining years of his life, dying in September 1891. He married Delia Cook, and to them was born four children, viz.: Catherine, wife of W. E. Tyler of Minnesota; Thomas J of Delmar; Robert S. who was killed before Petersburg, September 9, 1864, while serving in the Union Army, and Alice, deceased wife of A. C. Mack. Mrs. Orr died in 1887, aged seventy-nine years.

Hello, I am searching for the burial place of ESTHER UNDERHILL SEELY b 10 Sept 1820 d. 31 Mar 1852 m George Seely b 15 Mar 1799 d. 1 May 1870. In my genealogy papers passed down to me from a g-Aunt; there is a note that Esther is buried at Columbus Center, Chenawago, NY. Since, no such Co. exists; I am quessing it was a mis-spelling, and the Co. is Chenango! George and Esther were my 3x g-grandparents. Thank-you!

Seeking info on CHARLES JOEL HOWE, born Norwich on March 13, 1813. Married AMY C. HOPKINS from Edmeston in 1869. Amy was his second wife. Need info on Charles' parents. He had a sister Mrs. Charles Dain (don't know her first name). Charles started several churches in the Norwich and West Smyrna area, one being the Free Methodist Church in Norwich. He died in that area in 1884. A picture of Charles is supposed to be hanging in the Free Will Baptist Church in West Smyrna.

I am looking for information on the Goodrich family. My great, great, grandmother was a Goodrich. Luta Lucinda Goodrich born 20 Feb 1930 to Alvah Goodrich and Nancy Meriot Barber. Nancy is a Mayflower descendent of George Soule. Alvah Goodrich was born in 1805 in Norwich New York to David Goodrich and Susannah Burdick. Susannah is the daughter of Rev. Hazard Burdick who was born in 1759 in Rhode Island. His place of death is Norwich New York. David Goodrich was born in 1778 to Thomas Godrich and Ruth Royce. I was told by my grandmother that Thomas Goodrich had a twin brother and that Ruth Royce had a twin sister. The other twins also married one another. I would like to find out who the other twins were and what their names were! Thomas was born to James Goodrich and Susannah Hale. Ruth Royce was born to Johnathon Royce and Ruth Beckwith.

I am looking for information about JAMES SMITH, New Berlin, late 1700's and early 1800's. He was a British soldier, captured at the Battle of Cowpens, in the Carolinas. He was probably with the 71st Highlander (Frazers) Regiment. He eventually became a US citizen and lived in New Berlin in the early 1800's. His daughters married Fredrick VAIL and Jeremiah DYER. Fredrick VAIL was the son of the early New Berlin settler, Job VAIL. Jeremiah DYER was the son of Oliver DYER from Rhode Island. James SMITH married Catherine SOUTHARD. Their daugher, the one who married Jeremiah DYER was Mary SMITH. I am also looking for any information about the VAIL family and the SOUTHARD family.

NY Richard LASKEY (b. 1784 England - d. 1870 Wisconsin) and Dorothy JOHNSON (b. 1800 New Hampshire - d. 1875 Wisconsin) were married in Chenango Co., NY on Feb 7, 1826. Their children were Rhoda, John, Albert, Lois, Thomas, Stephen, Asenath, Chloe, Uri and David all born bet 1826 and 1841 in Green, Chenango Co., NY The family relocated to Columbus Co., WI by 1850. Some of the older children were not with the family, so did they marry and stay in NY? Bessie raised my dad till he was about 10 yrs. old at that time he went to live with EUGENE AND OLIVE CHAPPELLE. EUGENE CHAPPELL was a vetenarian in the late 1800 to the early 1900 in Greene n.y. Olive died in 1920 and Eugene in 1925. they are baried in Greene. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Andrew STAFFORD (REV. Soldier) was born in RI, lived in Conn. and moved to Sherburne in 1801. He married Rachel WILCOX (sister of Nathaniel CHURCH). Andrew died 23/25 1842 in Sherburne. Rachel died 24 June 1845. Where are they buried? Who are Andrew's parents? They had several children including Sarah who married Elisha CROUCHER. Eliisha died between 1830 and 1840. In 1840 Sarah lived next door to her parents. Her youngest son, Watson, lived with her. She probably died before 1850. Other known children were Alfred and possibly, Thomas? They were members of the 1st Congregational Church.
Does anyone have any information on any of these families, where and when did Elisha die? When did Sarah die and where is she buried?

Am looking for any info on Bani Denison, son of John Denison from Guilford. John d. 8-5-1836 is buried in Guilford as is his father John Deison who died 4-25-1825. Bani married Deborah Palmer daughter of Capt. William Palmer, who's wife is buried in Guilford also. Capt. Palmer came to McKean Co. along with his daughter and Bani and is buried here in the Norwich Cemetery. Palmer's seem to be hard to track. Any help welcome.

I am looking for information for Margaret SMITH WHITTEN McCALL SHAW. She was, for the most part, living in Greene. I believe she died in 1972. Does anyone know where William SHELLMAN is buried? Mr. Shellman was born 1842 and I found him in the 1900 census living at No. Afton. His Granddaughter, Hazel Shellman who was a teacher died in 1918 in No Afton and he was still alive then. Hazel's death certificate states she was buried in No. Afton cemetary but there is no record of it and am wondering if this is the same case with William. Any information you can give me would be helpful. Thank you.

Peter was born c. 1760 and Obadiah was born 1766, both in Dutchess County; James birthdate and place is unknown. Their father was Silas German, born c. 1735 in Dutchess County. Peter married Hannah Cash and was a prominent citizen of Columbus. Obadiah was a NY State Assemblyman, Judge, and US Senator.

I am looking for any information on the following familes of these people. John HOPKINS b. about 1820 and his wife Lucy Angeline GRANT. They had a daughter named Lucy Ada HOPKINS b. 3/17/1850 in DeRuyter, Chenango Co. I know very little about them, although I have quite a bit of information about Lucy HOPKINS Webb. I also am trying to find the parents of John Nelson HOUSE b. 5/10/1810 in Conn. ( I think he may have moved to Chenango Co., as a child), and his wife Densey (Dency) HUNT b. 5/11/1817 in Chenango Co. They were married 11/21/1833 in Chenago Co. The three children that they had that I know of ( I'm sure they had some older ones) are Marshall M. HOUSE b. 1/13/1845 in Chenango Co., Charles HOUSE b. 4/17/1847 and Mary Ann HOUSE b. 10/13/1849. John and Densey moved to Fayette Co. Iowa, and later on ended up in Nebraska.
