Cornelius Cuyler, took his first oath of office October 14, 1742. He had a house on south side of Steuben, fourth west from Chapel; married Catharina Schuyler, December 9, 1726, and had nine children, one of whom was colonel Abraham Cuyler, born April 11, 1742, and Mayor of Albany in revolutionary times.
