Ship Lists, Index 1637-1663
Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey

In most cases, the ship lists are incomplete as the passengers on paid tickets are not listed in the account books, and therefore do not appear on the shiplists. Unless another source was used where persons are mentioned as passengers on a specific ship, it is impossible to determine a complete passenger list for early ships arrivals, and one is left with other sources in determining an approximate arrival date for their ancestors.

Please keep in mind immigrants may have traveled to and fro more than once and therefore may appear on several lists and in other sources with similar names.

See Bibliography of Ship Passenger Lists for further information on sources used to reconstruct immigrant arrivals.
