Timothy CROSBY Sr.
The following chronological list is of known events in the life of Timothy Crosby Sr. The biggest unknown relates to what happened to his children by Amy Kittredge who were younger than their son Timothy Crosby Jr. at the time of her death. There are no known instances of any other than Timothy Jr. following him from Dummerston, Vermont to Homer and Truxton, Cortland County, New York. Also the death date is not known for Amita Hale (his second wife) and whether or not they had children. It seems likely that some if not all of the younger children may have ultimately stayed for a while with with Amy's parents, Dr. Francis and Abigail (Richardson) Kittredge who resided across the Connecticut River from Dummerston, Vermont in Walpole, New Hampshire. And again the marriage date (his third) to Lois Pearce Thayer Record is not known though it probably was just prior to his appointment as guardian of her son Israel Record 18 Jan 1817 in Homer, Cortland County, New York.
