Cortland County, Early Settlers Database

There are several resources on early settlers available to researchers that cannot be included on this site, due to copywrite or other issues. I have attempted to compile a database of the individuals listed in these works, similar to the book Massachusetts Pioneers to the West.

The cutoff date for this database is 1862. Immediately after each individual's name is a code to identify the source; sources will be listed at the end of the page. There will also be notes specific to the database, as to name corrections, etc. For example, on the 1810 census substitute, Talmadge Hall is mistakenly listed as Ahll, Talmadge. For the Revolutionary War graves, the town mentioned is the town where the graves are located.

This is a work in progress. Letters that are underlined are the only ones currently linked into the database.
