Query Text: Seek descendants of Emily Maria (Robinson) Coleman, b. 1863, only d/o Rev. William Albert Robinson and Lucy Camp Swift first of Morrisville, VT. Emily's father was the long time Congregational pastor (s/o Rev. Septimius Robinson and Semantha Washburn) in Homer during the 2nd half of the 1800s. William and Lucy retired to Davenport, IA c1908 where Emily and her husband resided. Rev. William died 1910 in Davenport, IA at Emily's home and his estate probated there by widow Lucy. William was transported back and interred in Homer. Lucy Camp (Swift) Robinson may have also been interred in Homer but have no confirming information for this. Do not know what Emily's husband's name was or where they married (probably in/near Homer). Do not know how long the Coleman's were in Davenport or children, if any. Might they have migrated back to Homer area with widow Lucy following father William's death? Lucy's father was 7th generation from Rev. John Robinson and Bridget White, pastor of the Pilgrim's separatist church in Holland before the Mayflower sailed to Plymouth. Rev. William's father Rev. Septimius was the 6th child of Eliab (Peter and Ruth Fuller) and Lucy Richardson from Windham, CT to Dorset, VT 1790. Any information or leads greatly appreciated. Don Blauvelt

Query Text: Looking for information on a Norris Colliar who was orphaned and taken in by Horace Smith of Cortland County. The following from "Biographical Review of residents of Broome Co., NY" "The birthplace of Norris Colliar was in New York State, on the banks of the Hudson River, where he first saw the light in 1821. He was one of a family of six small children who, being early left without parents, were carried to the County House. From that place Norris was taken by Horace Smith, of Cortland County, who brought him up, and proved to be a kind and helpful benefactor. In my research, I find a Horace Smith that resided in Willet, he is listed on the 1830, 1840, 1850 and 1860 census. Any help on the above information will be greatly appreciated.

Query Text: I am trying to identify--or at least date-- an old photograph. On the back, it says G. I. Pruden, Cortland NY and then says G.E. Butler, successor to G. I. Butler. I believe the photograph was taken between 1860 and 1880, most likely. Does anyone know of these photographers and the dates in which they were in business? Thanks so much in advance.
