Will of Eleazer Fuller Know all men by these presents that I, Eleazer Fuller of the town of Freetown, County of Cortland and State of New York considering the uncertainty of this life, and being of sound mind and memory, do make, declare and publish this, my last Will and Testament. I give an bequeath twenty five acres of land to my son, William, situate in Freetown, aforesaid being part of lot number twenty two in the northwest corner of said lot. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Betsey, my house and lot, together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging on in any wise appertaining. The lot is situate on lot number twenty two in Freetown, bounded as follows viz.: on the west by the highway running northerly from Freetown comes on the north by land now in the property of Melvin Conyer on the east by lands of Amasa Jones on the south by land owned by the First Methodist Episcopal church in Freetown. I give and bequeath to my grandchildren, Eleazer and Belding and Betsey, all the remainder of my property if there is any after my decease. I give and bequeath to my grand children to be divided in equal share3s between them the above named children who are children of my son, Horace Fuller. I do nominate and appoint my beloved daughter Betsey Montanye to be the sole executrix of this, my last Will and Testament in testimony where of I hereto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of witnesses named below this 15th day of April in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty six. Eleazer Fuller’s granddaughter, Betsey also mentioned above, is found living with Daniel Belden Paddock and his second wife, Content Brown on the 1855 State Census of Cortland County, listed as their granddaughter.
